    GUN SAFETY CLASS:

  • The 4 Firearms Safety Rules:                                                                 

  1. Treat Every Weapon As if it were loaded at all times                      
  2. Never point your weapon at anything you do not intend to destroy
  3. Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire
  4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it   

  • Gun Safety considerations.

  • Legal considerations regarding the use of deadly force in regards to self defense and the
    defense of others and defense of personal property.  

  • Basic tactics to utilize inside your home.

  • An opportunity to handle several types of firearms.

  • Firearms manipulations to include loading and unloading, sight alignment, sight picture,
    target acquisition and trigger pull.

  • You are not required to provide your own firearm.  There will be firearms available for
    you to handle.

     Cost for the course will be $75.00

Due to the ever increasing dangers facing todays law abiding American citizens are
you thinking of purchasing a firearm?  Do you know how to safely handle and
manipulate a firearm?  Have you ever fired a gun?  What is the best caliber and
type of firearm for your needs?   If you have ever asked yourself any of the above
questions we invite you to attend our Civilian Firearms training course.  We will
provide students with a SAFE and comfortable environment in which to learn the
basic knowledge in use of force law, how to select, safely handle, and safely fire a
gun.  As well as
BASIC tactics to use inside your home.  

This course is designed for everyone.  Men, women, those who have never seen
nor handled a firearm, to those with shooting or hunting experience.

Classes
RANGE DAY (SHOOTING):
  • You must have completed the Valhalla Security Training & Consulting Gun
    Safety Course within 6 months of live fire course.

  • Your $135.00 registration fee includes:  
  1. Your range fee at the shooting range.  
  2. Eye and ear protection.
  3. Up to 100 rounds of ammunition.
  4. For those students who don't have a gun or would like to fire different types of guns and or
    calibers, we will have guns available for you to test fire.

  • Review of firearms safety rules.

  • Range safety briefing

  • Live fire exercise

     Cost for the course will be $135.00
Students must be 18 years of age or older to attend either class.

    Requirements of the student:

  • Student must have a clean criminal history with no felony convictions, domestic violence convictions, or
    active court orders which would prohibit possession of a firearm.  Upon request student will provide
    written authorization allowing Valhalla Security Training & Consulting Inc  to conduct a criminal
    background check to confirm compliance with the above regulations prior to attending the course.
  • Student must be physically, emotionally, and mentally able to safely handle, manipulate, and fire a gun in
    a manner that does not endanger other students or instructors.
  • Firearms brought by students must conform to legal requirements set forth by state and federal law (IE.
    Barrel length, no fully automatic weapons etc.).  Any violations will be reported to the proper
    authorities.  Any questions regarding legality of a weapon will be directed to Valhalla Security Training &
    Consulting Inc prior to attending the course.
  • Student firearms must function safely and shall not be modified in a way that would make them function
    unsafely.
  • Student firearms will be brought to the range UNLOADED in either a hard or soft case and will remain
    in the case until advised to remove by an instructor only.
  • Instructors  reserve the right to excuse any student from the class at any time due to actions or words
    that put other students or instructors in danger or present a reasonable fear that harm will come to them.  
    NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
  • Students must sign a written waiver declaring or certifying that they are legal able to possess a firearm
    within this state.
DISCLAIMER
It should be understood that due to the physical nature of the training
described below that serious attending the course.  Individual students should
evaluate their current state of health determine if they are physically able to
participate.  Our instructors will make every reasonable effort to
accommodate the needs of our students.
